Portable BP montiors & cuffs for a regional study (TW, JP, KR)

Background:

Meditrade was appointed to arrange portable BP monitors for a regional APAC study with patients in Taiwan, Japan and Korea. The project included the identification & sourcing of suitable models, and delivery to the Sponsor’s / CRO’s office.

Challenge:

Meditrade had to identify a manufacturer which could support the deliver in all 3 markets and models that provided the necessary functionalities as required by the study specifications and the Sponsors. Furthermore, the products had to be delivered during similar time which required reduction of risks factors such as importation.

Meditrade’s solution:

Meditrade identified a basic model form a manufacturer that had its products sold and registered locally in all of the 3 markets, which ensured full compliance of the idenfied devices with the respective regulations for medical devices. The products were sourced through a variety of channels depending on the country distribution landscape. Products were sent to designated delivery addresses and Meditrade provided supporting system-generatred project reports including Serial Numbers of the products, which are designed to provide full traceablity of the products.
